1. About this policy

Lusco Foundation Limited (Lusco Foundation) (ABN 12 698 725 389, ACN 698 725 389) is committed to protecting the privacy of everyone who interacts with our organisation - particularly the women who use the Lusco Platform, who may be in vulnerable and dangerous circumstances.

This Privacy Policy explains how Lusco Foundation collects, uses, stores, discloses and protects personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

2. The personal information we collect

Website visitors: We collect standard analytics data including pages visited, time on site, device type and general location (city level). This data is aggregated and anonymous.

Donors: When you make a donation we collect your name, email address, donation amount and payment details. Payment details are processed securely by our payment provider and are not stored by Lusco Foundation.

Platform users: The Lusco Platform is designed to minimise the personal information it collects. Anonymous access is available. If you provide location, name or contact details, this is collected only with your explicit consent and used only to provide the service you have requested.

3. How we use your personal information

We use personal information only for the purposes for which it was collected. We will not use your personal information for any other purpose without your consent.

4. How we protect your personal information

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3+) and at rest (AES-256). The platform undergoes independent security audits before launch and annually thereafter. Access to personal information is restricted to staff who need it to perform their role.

5. Disclosure of personal information

Lusco Foundation does not sell, rent or trade personal information to any third party. We may disclose information to service providers under strict confidentiality obligations, to support services where you have consented to a referral, and to authorities where required by law.

6. Platform users - additional protections

Your use of the platform is anonymous by default. We will never contact you without your explicit consent. We will never disclose that you have used the platform to any third party. If you use the quick-exit feature, all evidence of your session is immediately purged from your device.

7. Access, correction and complaints

You have the right to access and correct the personal information we hold about you, and to make a complaint about how we have handled it. Contact: privacy@luscofoundation.org.au. Unresolved complaints may be lodged with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
