Violence is learned. Which means it can be unlearned.

Lusco Futures works with boys and young men in NSW schools to prevent domestic and family violence before it begins - not by adding another program to an already crowded space, but by becoming the quality layer that makes all programs better.

Our Approach

We do not create a competing school program. We partner with schools and existing evidence-based program providers, apply a rigorous quality and outcomes measurement framework, and build toward a national benchmark for DV prevention education.

Year 1 Plan

  • Map and partner with existing evidence-based programs across NSW schools

  • Develop a standardised delivery and outcome measurement framework

  • Pilot with 3–5 NSW high schools

  • Align with NSW Government Pathways to Prevention strategy 2024–2028

  • Publish findings to drive sector-wide quality improvement

The Long-Term Goal

NSW is our proof of concept. Australia is our goal. Lusco Futures is designed to become the national quality benchmark for domestic violence prevention education in Australian schools.
